I posted a couple of weeks ago about not knowing what to do with my hair. I had an appointment with a new stylist yesterday who specializes in color.
I love her!
I didn't get it cut (yet) and I know it looks damaged and needs to be. But she did put a beautiful blonde shade in with some very dark lowlights (that are actually very close to my original hair color) in just a few spots.
Isn't it funny how a new hair color or style can give you a pick me up?
I'm really in love with this color!
She put most of the lowlights underneath so I could see if I liked them.
Here you can see that I have a lot of damage from styling and coloring. I'll get a healthy trim at my next appointment to help that, but I've decided to keep it fairly long until I'm at least 40 :)

I get lowlights in my natural dark blonde colour and it means my lighter blonde highlights last WAY longer than before.
