Contemplating..

Chop it off or leave it long? (and I know how bad I need my roots done!)

Honest opinions sought :)

Your hair is beautiful, but try something different. If you find you don't like it, grow it out. You'll never know unless you try! <3

I say leave it long!

I think you should definitely cut it just because you'd look great in anything, and it's fun to try something new!!

I love your hair, but Mickey said it perfectly!

Tanya, I agree, you have beautiful hair. I believe short hair brings out your facial features which you have beautiful ones. Take a chance and cut it, it will always grow out if you don't care for it. There are so many really cute short styles that you would have a lot to pick from. Have fun with it.

What about a medium cut? maybe not quite shoulder length. If you decide to go short it will let you adjust gradually, if you wish you'd left it long you are half way there?

You have lovely thick hair! Long long long :)

You would look good bald and in a burlap sack! :-) I agree with a previous comment in that I would go with a medium cut and you can always grow it out. Just my two cents!

Tanya, you have beautiful bone structure, and an adorable pointed chin. You are fortunate to have a great shaped face, nice and oval, so you could go with almost anything. YOu look GREAT with no bangs, but that would look cute too. A short short one would be cool, with a fringe of bangs, or if too scary a shoulder length one. I bet a bob would look great too! actually I see tons of great possibilities! It is only hair- it grows AND a good hair stylist will not steer you wrong. They are going to do their best to give you a cut that flatters you and that you will be comfortable with.

Hi, Tanya

I love your hair, but I always say try a different look and if you don't like it you can always grow your hair back.
Have a great weekend.

Okay HI your hair is so beautiful long! But I know the need for change...you have a perfect face and bone structure for any cut! I have lots of cute cuts on my pinterest board - check it out! Pinterest.com/maggiecall :)

You would look wonderful with a spikey super short cut in your natural color!

Long! I think its the trend. But I think long!

If you are itching to cut it I would say do it but only a little. When I had really long hair like that - so beautiful - I got the itch too and I went pretty short. I liked it but I got tired of the short hair too (It's alot of maintenance getting it cut all the time and the roots show alot faster!) and while I have grown my hair a little longer than shoulder length it has never been quite that long again.

Good luck!

Yes, your hair is gorgeous, but I say CUT IT! I am going through the exact same dilemma and just want to whack mine off. With a beautiful face like yours, you can't go wrong, and just as everyone else said, it will grow back. Yes, long hair is the trend these days, but I am one who likes to not be so trendy, I like to be different, so I dare you to be different!! (you must post pictures if you do!)

Any length would look lovely on you, but stop with the bleach. It just makes you (and most women look cheap)and like you're trying too hard.

Keep it long, I always grow my hair, get bored and cut it off then regret it, as I am now desperately trying to grow it back.

You go cut a few inches off to see how you like it. The great thing about hair is that it grows back.

Good Saturday from southern Manitoba! Good gosh...leave that gorgeous hair alone my dear...you are stunning as is! I have very similiar thick blond (with red highlights) hair, almost waist length..and I am 54...I love my thick hair, curl it constantly...wear it down when I go out and up in a ponytail when I am at home. People have always admired my look and I would never change it. KEEP your beautiful locks! Cheers, Valerie.

Your hair is beautiful, I vote for only a trim, no more than a couple of inches!

1st thought is you will be beautiful whether your hair is long or short! I would suggest that you look through lots of pictures and find a stylist that you trust. I think a shoulder length would be beautiful and I think one of those cute short bobs would be beautiful as well. New Year, new look. Go for it!

It's beautiful... cut it to about the bottom of the turtle neck in the picture. Still long enought to put up but short enought not to be a "pain" I'm in the same boat. Next day off I'm heading in for the cut and color too.

You've GOT to post the results though ;)

You're gorgeous, Tanya. I would love for my hair to look like that, but it would be really pretty shorter, too.

Honestly, I say leave it long :)

Kristy said...

I would say try cutting it. You don't have to go super short, but it can be a lot more versatile and easier when it's a little shorter. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE long hair and wish I could grow mine out. BUT that being said....I say cut it!

Good heavens you're gorgeous! Leave the hair! It frames your face and you look elegant.

BTW I'm in Wisconsin too! Small world!

Your hair is so pretty but I say cut it - a new year, a new style. Besides, it is only hair, if you don't like it, you can always grow it back.

Cut it! You have a beautiful face!

Cut it. Hair will grow back.

Keep it long. Long is classic and timeless. Everyone and their neighbor is cutting their hair short! Look at Jane Seymour or Shiva Rose. LONG!!

Your hair is gorgeous, but I say try something new if you've had this look for years.
